I am always on a lookout for moisturizer that are super-duper hydrating and absorbs quickly on your skin without making your skin oily, the most important thing is if the moisturizer is safe for sensitive skin as I have an acne prone skin. I have been using this product for the past 7 days, I was hesitant at first because I thought it would leave my skin oily but after using it for 7 days I am very impressed with this product as how soft and supple my skin feels i.e after I’m ready to cleanse my face.
The key ingredient for Neutrogena HydroBoost Water Gel cream is Hyaluronic acid i.e a powerful and strong moisturizer that holds unto 1000 times its weight in water and keeping the skin plumped and hydrated,Dimethicone and glycerin (maintains the skin’s moisture barrier, so water won’t evaporate faster than it can be reabsorbed).
The Neutrogena Hydroboost Gel 50 ml comes packaged in a a blue crystal tub, with a white plastic cover, as I opened I was amused to see that the gel like cream is also a light shade of blue.
At first I immediately tried a little on the back of my hand and was surprised that it made my skin smoother right away. It has a pleasantly aquatic scent, but rather a very strong scent. The same night I applied the Neutrogena Hydroboost Gel cream after my regular face wash and my apple cider toner regime. The scent stayed for a quite long time as Im not a huge fan of strong scent, this was the only thing that was a turn off for me personally. Unfortunately I have to say that I have been using this product for past 7 days, I really dont like the scent, I just wished that they could keep the scent a little mild.
The only reason I like this product is it does not make my skin greasy and absorbs quick. I would recommend this product to people who have sensitive skin and dry skin. However the Neutrogena HydroBoost Gel cream worked wonders to maintain the moisture level in my skin. So guys, if your skin is dehydrated, this product is the best product to keep your skin hydrated always and dont forget to drink plenty of water.
